Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop’s third International Film Festival
of 2013 will be held from Dec 19 to 21 at Alhamra Arts Council, The
Mall, at 1pm to 7pm, showcasing 64 feature, documentary, children’s,
animated and short films.Entrance to halls is through free passes
available at the Rafi Peer Cultural Center and at the venue of the
festival.
Addressing a press conference at the Lahore Press Club, Usman
Peerzada, Sadaan Peerzada and Tasneem Pirzada said the films had been
selected from 250 films of 35 countries. These films encompassed various
aspects of human life and allow the viewers a glimpse into different
cultures, thoughts, socio-political realities and activities of people
of the world.
These brilliant works by young and renowned film directors and their
teams provide a closer look at the advances made in the contemporary
cinema.
The films to be screened are from Pakistan, Iran, Spain, Denmark, Australia, France, Germany, Norway, India, UAE and Russia.
