Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said that the nation must stand united like a brick wall in order to foil the conspiracies by the enemies of Pakistan.
While reviewing the law and order situation in a meeting on Friday, the CM instructed the officials to utilise each resource to ensure the protection of the lives and property of the people.
Discussing the security situation for Chehlum of Imam Hussain (RA), the CM instructed the police and law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to keep a close eye on the extremists as well as to strengthen the security arrangements through cctv cameras and walk-through scanners and gates. He added that unbiased action should be taken against people giving hate speeches and to implement the law of banning loudspeakers in every sense.
Home secretary and inspector general of Police briefed the CM about the overall security situation.
